Student Life - Extra Curricular Activities

John a paramedic student talks about what else you can do at University other than studying

There's lots of extra-curricular activities available at UWE. There's lots of sports clubs and societies that you can join, there's volunteer work that you can do. There's always social events going on whether it be over at the SU bar after we've had lectures or on a weekend when we are all getting together just for a drink or maybe a drink before going out for the night.

There's several graduation balls each year for different disciplines. They are always quite good fun to go to because you get to talk to people especially from different disciplines as well as the people you meet in the SU while you are trying to have a nice quiet pint.

There's fresher's week or two weeks, load of events, an event every night absolutely fantastic fun led by the SU at UWE.
