Library Facilities at the University of the West of England

The library facilities at Glenside are fantastic really. There's a massive array of book s and resources that you can use including specialist journals. A lot of these, especially the journals are online and can be accessed from anywhere so it's fantastic for when you are working away at home.

The wide selection of books that I mentioned include other disciplines and specialities which means when you are trying to build up your knowledge base you get knowledge from all over areas so when it comes to clinical reasoning and care paths for your patient you are not just thinking what would the paramedic do you are thinking what would the doctor do what would the nurse what would the radiologist want to do so you can provide a better level of care for you patient. The teaching facilities obviously make use of this, when we are taught we get a lot of research tasks that we go away and do and then those tasks that we complete where we get research knowledge we can practice that knowledge if we want within the clinical skills rooms.
